Great Fermentations to Participate in AHA ‘Big Brew’ – Celebration Planned for May 2nd

More than 8,000 beer enthusiasts from North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, South America and Australia are expected to participate this year.  “Big Brew allows homebrewers to unite over what they love most: homebrewing,” said Gary Glass, director, American Homebrewers Association. The simultaneous worldwide toast is at 1 PM Indianapolis time.

Brew In from 9 AM to 4 PM – Multiple batches of homebrew will be cooking away in the parking lot. If you have never brewed this is a great opportunity to see the process live!

Meet and Greet Local Homebrew Clubs throughout the day – Homebrew clubs are a great way to meet people and learn from folks who share your passion for the hobby. Stroll up to the clubs’ booth and strike up a conversation – you might even find yourself a new set of brewing buddies.

Homebrew Garage Sale from 11 to 1 PM – One brewer’s old equipment is another brewer’s upgrade. We provide the tables, you show up to buy and sell.

Educational Seminars from 12:15 to 3 PM Local experts share their brewing knowledge. Topics include water chemistry, lager brewing, Brett beers, mastering homebrew competitions and brewing software.
