We’ve attended lots of festivals, visited a lot of breweries, and tried a lot of beer over our first year. In honor of our anniversary, we’ve decided to share with you some of our personal favorites. Each member of the Indiana On Tap team picked their 5 favorite new beers from 2014. Keep in mind that these are not “the best” beers, or even our all time personal favorites, some aren’t even truly “new”, they are just our favorites that we have tried for the first time in 2014.
The list includes 58 different beers from 36 different breweries. Scarlet Lane Brewing made the list with 3 different beers and a total of 8 mentions, the highest of any brewery. Their Dorian Coconut Stout is the individual beer mentioned the most, with 6 mentions! Sun King Brewing had the widest variety of beers on the list with 5 different beers mentioned, while Bloomington Brewing had 4 different beers and 3 Floyds, BIER Brewery, and Upland each had 3 different beers.
