For Immediate Release

New Oberpfalz Brewing, located at 121 E Main St. in Griffith, IN announced on Monday that Chef Jim Chaddock will be joining their team. Chaddock has been a part of the nationally acclaimed Rolling Stonebaker Pizza Co. for the past five years and will bring a new and delicious food menu to New Oberpfalz Brewing’s Tap Room in downtown Griffith.

“We’re excited to have Jim on board. He brings a lot of functional knowledge on how to run a commercial kitchen to this brewery, while adding a lot of creativity and incorporating more fresh flavors and gourmet ingredients to our food offerings” said Dan Lehnerer, Founder and President of New Oberpfalz Brewing. “We were pleased that Jim thought highly enough of what we were doing as brewers to share his culinary skills with us. We are excited to be able to offer great beer along with truly great food.”

The revamped Tap Room menu will be offered by December 1, but Chaddock has already made changes that can be felt. “The addition of our giant Bavarian pretzel and better execution of existing menu offerings can already be seen. It’s going to be interesting to see what Jim can do in the future, as the small changes he has already made have had such an impact.”

Additionally, New Oberpfalz Brewing has entered the South Bend, Lafayette, and Indianapolis markets with 22oz bottles and draft beer for taverns and restaurants. Varieties available for sale in those markets include Toad Storm Double IPA, Elucidator Doppelbock, Imperial Rye IPA, and Russian Imperial Stout with Coffee and Cocoa Nibs. “We wanted to bring the best of our beer portfolio to these markets. We had visitors from these areas come to the Tap Room within a week of activation. While it’s great to sell the beer to locations far away from the brewery, we were flattered that people decided to visit us based on the beer they had from us in their home town.” added Lehnerer.
